Abstract
The history of the establishment in 1926 of the vicariate of Suanhoafou, to be committed to the local diocesan clergy. Its connection with the mission of the Pétang in Beijing. Biographical notices on the directors of the vicariate, the Vincentian priests who served there and the outlying parishes. The parish histories are virtually impossible to find elsewhere. Because of the vicariate's relationship with Mongolia, its history is also presented. Photos of bishops, priests and churches accompany the text.
