Identificación de coliformes totales , coliformes fecales y Escherichia coli aisladas del agua potable del distrito de Cajamarca

Abstract

The present work of investigation had as aim identify total coliforms, fecal coliforms and Escherichia coli isolated from drinking water the district of Cajamarca. To identify determinants we took a representative sample of 500 mL potable water of each reservoir outlet of treatment plant (El Milagro y Santa Apolonia) and of the each management board of service and sanitation “Jass” (Mataracocha, Coñorcucho, Chilcaloma, Corisorgona, Bellavista, Delta, Calispuqio, Lucmacucho and Agua Tapada) in a jar sterile glass in a jar sterile glass; being transported to the laboratory of the Executive Office of Environmental Health. Also it proceeded to perform the measurement of chlorine (the chlorinated water is preserved with sodium thiosulphate at 3% 0,1 mL/120mL Sample), of pH and turbidity. The method it was used was of membrane filter of Cellulose nitrate 0,45 μm in the filtration equipment. The results were analyzed through statistical programs ANOVA and T-Student for the comparison respective; these were expressed in charts and tables. According to the results, it is concluded that there presence of total coliforms, fecal coliforms and Escherichia coli in the Jass compared with treatment plants that no type of bacteria studied were found.
